I have thoroughly enjoyed participating in my Bee over the last 12 months. I have had the opportunity to make beautiful blocks that I would not have made time for if I had not committed to the Bee.I have made online friends whom I admire and respect. I have received 22 beautiful blocks that I will sew into a quilt very, very soon. Really I will. After Christmas. And after the children start the new school year. So that means I have just given myself to March 2014!
Alas, all things come to an end and these pink lovelies were made in August.

First up: my Scrap Bag Challenge quilt. Thanks to a lovely friend I have some beautiful backing fabric for it!
What are you working on at the moment? Or hope to be working on soon!
Well done on finishing your bee blocks..now on to your paintbox quilt....at a leisurely pace of course! Your scrapbook challenge looks like a whole heap of fun. It will be great to see what a beauty you come up with! Have fun stitching and ticking off that 'to do' list!
ReplyDeleteSo is your bee not continuing into next year? I'm glad someone else gives themselves 6 month deadlines. Those pink blocks are gorgeous, I love hot pink!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Two very fun quilts! I've never participated in a bee, but maybe one of these days. I'm currently finishing up a test pattern for someone, and have so many other things to work on. So far behind on my BOMs :/ Of course, the holidays are approaching and I don't have any holiday quilts, wall hangings, etc. like I thought I would this year. And now I really want to make one of those scrap vomit quilts!!! The list of quilts I want to make keeps getting longer!
